About Me

My photo
I am 19 years old now. It seems like time is going fast, and I am not always sure how to handle it! I started college August 2014. I am studying psychology at North Central University, meeting new people, and drawing closer to God with each step I take. Life is not a destination, it is a long journey. I am excited to see what God has in store for my life, and I hope you will join me as I find out!

Hair Cut

Ok, so I wanted a new style but still long.  (ya know, since I'm trying to grow it out.)  So I came up with Bangs.  Oh yeah!  Way cool.  I think, it may be the best idea I've had yet!

Toy Story 3

Warning!

Spoiler Alert!

I am going to talk about the ending!

Do not read unless you want to know!

Toy Story 3 is about the adventures of Andy's toys when his mom decides to throw them away because she mistook the bag for a garbage bag. Woody and the toys climb out of the trash and into a box of donations for a day care. The toys escape and find their way home. In the process, Buzz gets a concussion.

At the end, Andy finds a note on his box of toys that is going to the attic to be donated. He thinks the note is from his mom, but it is really from Woody. So, he donates them to a little girl who is really good with toys. Only he doesn't know Woody is in the bottom of the box. The little girl keeps Woody and she calls him her cowboy. Andy played with the little girls with all of his toys again before driving away and going to college.
I really want this movie and the first two!

Wrapping Shoe Boxes

Last night, we went to youth group at Songbird's church. We wrapped shoe boxes. Some people decorated their boxes with stickers. The little kids picked up the wrapped boxes and put them in a pile to be shipped. We wrapped the boxes for Operation Christmas Child. They ask people to fill shoe boxes with little gifts to give to children who might not otherwise receive a gift. Often the gifts inside are things like toothbrushes and combs. It was nice to be a part of something like that. I enjoyed doing the work of filling the boxes. It was fun hanging out with the teens in the youth group.

Happy Veterans Day

For Veterans Day, we made Mr. D cards and a centerpiece. It was cool. And now I want to say:

Happy Veterans Day!! Thank you to all who have served and are currently serving our country!

art, art, and more art!

Today, we went to the art museum!  It was way cool.  I remebered the camera, and took tons of pictures.  Unfortunatley, not very many of me.  This one was my favorite girl.  The picture doesn't do her justice, in the painting, she looked almost real.  Every detail is very good, right down to the hands and toes, which I may tell you are very hard to get proportioned correctly.

Here are a couple others.  Have you ever looked at a painting and just thought WOW.  thats what I did with these.  They are absolutley beautiful!  These two are about cincinnatti and the river front.
Then, there was the castle and the water around it. Absolutley gorgeous!

These were by far,  I tkink my favorite.  Abstract Art.  Totally cool!
And that concludes our tour of the museum.  Actually, there is more, but that's all I will show you.

(OK, that took a while to publish. I wasn't done, but I will enjoy having the memory. I wouldn't be able to add to it now, so we will leave it at this! 10-4-14)
